Beautiful morning for a run. I hauled my butt outta bed and went. I chased the morning full moon for a bit, contemplating what it was doing to the waters of the earth. I'm sure it was doing what it did everyday with the tides. I noticed, although only 2 days after being full and commanding of the night, in the morning sky it had already started to wane. Then, realizing I was NOT going to catch it, I turned perpendicular to its path and continued my run. Finally, I turned again and let IT watch ME, as I ran the rest of the 5k home.
I was right on pace with my 5k from Stuart...26:17. Were it not for a couple moments of walking, I would have finished a bit sooner. Oh well, it'll come. Pulse: 132 when all was said and done. I think I'll set up a couple routes on some gravel roads. I much running on gravel than on pavement. Saturday is my next race. The Earlham Firecracker 5k.
Have a good day, folks...
myk
