Running: 30 June 2010 - Milestone

Another beautiful day for a run.  Part of me was real reluctant to want to get up this morning.  I suppose that part would be just the parts that are required for running...and my wenis (actually termed the olecranan skin).  I'd say the temp was a cool 65 degrees.  It was very nice.  I had a nice breeze blowing in my bedroom window...I could have stayed in bed...ahhhhhh....but I didn't.

I got up, dressed, and streched.  At 6:09, I hit the streets.  Same route as Monday.  I happened to glance skyward, and there right where she was Monday morning, was the waning full moon.  She looked a bit pale, but cheery nonetheless.  We ran together again today.  Today though, I ran the entire time without walking.  God, did I want to!  But in the back of my head was this little voice of Coach telling me to keep moving.  Slow the pace if I needed to, but keep moving.  So I did.  In 26:05 I was back home.  Another 5k.  And my PB.  Whoo, hoo!  Pulse today: 152.  Pace was comfortable.

I'll need to run again before Saturday's 5k race in Earlham.  Perhaps tomorrow morning.

Have a great day folks...
myk
